The Galaxy Z Fold7, powered by Galaxy AI, is designed to support professionals who need to manage work efficiently while on the move.

Weighing 215 grams, the Galaxy Z Fold7 is Samsung’s lightest and thinnest foldable device so far, measuring 8.9 millimeters when folded and 4.2 millimeters when unfolded. Its large screen enables users to open multiple applications side by side, similar to a computer display.

Galaxy AI has been optimized for large screens with features such as AI Results View and Drag & Drop. AI Results View allows generated content to appear in a separate window while keeping the original material visible. Drag & Drop lets users move text or images across apps with the Multi Window function.

The Note Assist tool organizes handwritten notes and creates summaries to make key points easier to review. For meetings, Transcript Assist converts voice recordings into text, generates summaries, and translates dialogue into other languages.

Samsung also highlighted messaging support through Writing Assist. “Writing Assist allows you to adjust the tone of your messages and provides real-time translation to help you communicate more effectively,” the company said.

The Galaxy Z Fold7 runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, which is built to handle multitasking and advanced applications. Its 4,400 mAh smart battery, combined with mDNIe technology, manages power use by adjusting brightness, sharpness, and contrast. The system also learns routines to optimize battery life during long workdays.

Additional tools include Circle to Search with Google, which lets users draw a circle around any object or text in photos, documents, or webpages to generate search results without typing.

Gemini Live, another Galaxy AI feature, interprets what users see, say, or do. With screen or camera sharing, users can show Gemini their tasks, ask questions, and receive immediate insights. Samsung said this function can improve collaboration, research, and real-time problem-solving.

The Galaxy Z Fold7 is available in Blue Shadow, Jetblack, Silver Shadow, and an online-exclusive Mint. Samsung described the device as “an intelligent and intuitive companion for professionals, offering efficiency and a refined design.”
