Samsung introduces the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 series, which aims to redefine the tablet landscape with unparalleled viewing experiences and creative freedom. 

The Galaxy Tab S9, S9+, and S9 Ultra boast Dynamic AMOLED 2X displays, powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy, providing users with immersive entertainment and robust performance. An IP68-rated S Pen accompanies each device, encouraging users to express their ideas both indoors and outdoors.

The Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra features a 14.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, ensuring an immersive and portable entertainment experience. HDR10+ technology optimizes colors and brightness scene-by-scene, while the dynamic refresh rate adapts between 60 and 120Hz for smooth responsiveness and battery efficiency. Eye Comfort further reduces eye strain with low blue light, and the 16:10 aspect ratio presents content as intended.

Enhanced entertainment is delivered through larger quad speakers with AKG sound and Dolby Atmos, providing a cinematic audio experience. Innovative Vision Booster technology automatically adjusts screen brightness for optimal viewing in bright conditions. The Smart Book Cover enables hands-free viewing in portrait or landscape orientation.

Performance and productivity

The Galaxy Tab S9 series’ advanced vapor chamber technology enables sustained performance during gaming or video editing sessions. The tablets are engineered for efficient heat dissipation, enhancing overall performance.

The Galaxy Tab S9 series includes the IP68-rated Galaxy S Pen, offering a pen-on-paper-like experience and versatility for capturing ideas anywhere. The S Pen Creator Edition elevates the experience with improved grip and tilt angle options. Multi Window allows users to work simultaneously on up to three apps, and Pop-Up View enables apps to be viewed in floating windows.

Enhanced creativity

The Galaxy Tab S9 series is designed for creativity and productivity, with new and enhanced apps tailored to various interests. GoodNotes offers note-taking and journaling experiences, while LumaFusion simplifies video editing with precise controls. Clip Studio Paint and ArcSite cater to drawing, painting, and CAD needs. Partner apps optimized for large-screen experiences further enhance productivity.

The Galaxy Tab S9 series seamlessly integrates into the Galaxy ecosystem. Multi Control facilitates seamless text and image transfer between the tablet and smartphone. The tablets feature a sleek Galaxy design, including a striking camera layout, and are both slim and durable, with an IP68 rating and Armor Aluminum reinforcement. The Outdoor Cover adds an extra layer of protection for rugged environments.

The Galaxy Tab S9 series is available for pre-order in select markets starting July 26, with general availability beginning on Aug. 17. The series comes in Graphite color and three sizes: 14.6-inch on Tab S9 Ultra, 12.4-inch on Tab S9+, and 11-inch on Tab S9.
