Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7, Galaxy Z Flip7, and Galaxy Z Flip7 FE were designed to serve as portable creative studios powered by Galaxy AI. The devices run on One UI 8 with Android 16 and are equipped with tools that support both photo and video editing.
Among the new features is Photo Assist, which allows users to polish rough sketches through the Sketch-to-Image function, turning simple doodles into detailed illustrations. For photo corrections, Generative Edit lets users remove or adjust unwanted objects in images, while Object Eraser can delete elements with a single tap. A new Suggest Erases option automatically detects and recommends edits, such as removing passersby in a shot.
The devices also introduce angle adjustment, where users can modify the perspective of a photo by dragging a slider, with AI filling in missing pixels to preserve quality. Portrait Studio offers creative filters and artistic styles, including cartoon, watercolor, and sketch effects.
For video editing, the Instant Slowmo tool generates additional frames to produce smooth slow-motion clips. Users can select specific segments of a video and adjust playback speed directly from the Gallery app. Audio Eraser reduces background noise, such as chatter or wind, to improve sound clarity.

Samsung said Galaxy AI also supports productivity through Ambient AI, which adapts to user behavior and needs. The new Galaxy Z series comes with six months of Google AI Pro and 2TB of cloud storage.
With these features, Samsung positions the Galaxy Z Fold7, Galaxy Z Flip7, and Galaxy Z Flip7 FE as devices for creators and everyday users who want AI-driven tools for editing and storytelling.
