Samsung has opened pre-orders in the Philippines for the Galaxy Watch9 and Galaxy Watch Ultra2, bringing new artificial intelligence (AI)-powered health tracking features and offering discounts, trade-in savings, and installment plans until Aug. 13.
The new smartwatches indicate the growing demand for wearable devices that do more than count steps. Samsung said more people are focusing on building healthier daily habits, such as improving sleep, monitoring heart health, exercising regularly, and recovering properly after workouts.
Galaxy Watch9
The Galaxy Watch9 is designed for users who want to track their daily health and fitness while wearing a lightweight smartwatch throughout the day.
Working with Samsung Health, the watch provides AI-powered insights instead of simply recording activity. New features include Vitals, Heart Health Score, Daily Cardio Load, Fitness Index, and enhanced Sleep Apnea detection, giving users personalized recommendations for sleep, exercise, and recovery.

Galaxy Watch Ultra2
Samsung designed the Galaxy Watch Ultra2 for runners, hikers, divers, and outdoor enthusiasts who need a more durable smartwatch.
The watch introduces Trail Run mode, which tracks elevation, climbing progress, terrain impact, and pacing. A new Nutrition Alert estimates sweat loss and reminds runners to stay hydrated.
For diving, the watch carries 10ATM, IP69K, and EN13319 certifications and automatically records dive depth, water temperature, and dive duration. Samsung said an upcoming Diving app developed with Mares will add ascent and descent speed monitoring and safe dive guidance.

Samsung is offering up to 15% savings, 0% installment plans for up to 36 months through select banks, and trade-in savings of up to ₱9,000 for the Galaxy Watch Ultra2 and up to ₱7,000 for the Galaxy Watch9. Buyers can also receive Home Credit discounts and Samsung Care+ offers during the pre-order period.
