Technology brand Acer Philippines released a new campaign featuring P-pop group SB19, highlighting how technology helps people stay connected to what they call home, even while away.
The campaign, titled “Acer Aking Tahanan,” is about a music video shot in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, where SB19 members appear in separate locations while working on their creative routines. Each member uses Acer devices to stay connected, showing how digital tools can serve as a personal and shared space.
In the video, Pablo sends a song idea to Stell, Justin, Josh, and Ken. The group members gradually make their way toward each other, ending with an in-person reunion at the Kaohsiung Music Center. The storyline focuses on connection rather than location, showing that home can be defined by relationships carried anywhere.
Acer Philippines worked with the Kaohsiung City Government to film at several landmarks, including the Kaohsiung Music Center, Dragon and Tiger Pagoda, and Pier2 Art Center.
“The song #AcerTahanan captures how we feel about our home, or Tahanan, as we Filipinos call it,” said Sue Ong-Lim, managing director of Acer Philippines. “We will always return to our Tahanan because that is where we feel most comfortable. It may take years or even decades, but we will always come home. We at Acer are happy to be your digital Tahanan, where you can get the best gadgets for your needs.”
The campaign also highlights Acer’s consumer and gaming notebooks, which are designed for daily use such as work, entertainment, communication, and gaming. Acer and Predator laptops include updated AI features and graphics aimed at improving performance for different user needs.
As part of the campaign, Acer is running a holiday promotion until Jan. 18, 2026. Customers can get up to ₱20,000 in discounts or vouchers from SM Appliance Center when they buy any participating Acer consumer or gaming notebook.
To qualify, buyers must register their product for warranty within one week of purchase through Acer’s warranty website. After verification, eligible customers will receive an eGift voucher by email and mobile number within five days. The voucher can be redeemed at the selected SM Appliance Center. Only purchases from Acer Concept Stores, Acer Authorized Resellers, and the Acer Philippines Online Store are included in the promo.
