Sony has launched its latest soundbar, the HT-S2000, in the Philippines, promising a cinematic surround sound experience. 

Equipped with 3.1ch Dolby Atmos / DTS:X technology and innovative features like Vertical Surround Engine and S-Force PRO Front Surround, this soundbar brings entertainment lovers closer to the action.

The HT-S2000 employs Sony’s Virtual Surround Technology with Vertical Surround Engine and S-Force PRO Front Surround. This combination creates a three-dimensional surround sound, giving users the thrill of Dolby Atmos and DTS:X. By positioning sound vertically and reproducing surround sound fields, the soundbar offers rich, cinematic audio without cluttering the living space.

Sony ensures crystal-clear dialogue with a dedicated center speaker, while the built-in dual subwoofer delivers deep and punchy bass. The X-balanced Speaker Unit technology enables louder sound pressure with less distortion, resulting in greater vocal clarity.

Home cinema experience

For a heightened cinema experience, users can add an optional wireless subwoofer (SA-SW5 / SA-SW3) for richer bass. Sony’s optional wireless rear speakers (SA-RS3S)2 provide sound from all directions, including behind the audience. When paired with a compatible BRAVIA XR TV, soundbar settings appear on the BRAVIA Quick Settings menu for easy control.

Setting up and using the HT-S2000 is effortless with the Sony | Home Entertainment Connect app. The app guides users through initial setup, and troubleshooting, and grants full control over volume, sound fields, and more, directly from their smartphones. 

The soundbar incorporates specially developed recycled plastic in various parts, ensuring excellent acoustic performance with recycled materials. Moreover, the packaging is made from approximately 95% recycled paper and paper-based materials, significantly reducing plastic usage.
