Sun Life Global Solutions (SLGS), the digital and innovation hub of Sun Life, has appointed Nathalie Bernardo as its new vice president and site head in the Philippines.
In her new role, Bernardo will lead the SLGS Philippines organization, steering strategic imperatives. Her key responsibilities include driving technology and digital solutions for Asia, overseeing business operations, and ensuring top-tier client care for Canada and the United States.

Solid background
Bringing over 20 years of experience to the table, Bernardo has a solid background in IT solutioning, global delivery models, IT service management, and customer service delivery. Her track record includes managing multi-functional operations, supporting multiple geographical locations, overseeing shared services, global delivery center management, fostering customer engagement, and effective vendor management.

While managing director at Accenture Inc., Bernardo spearheaded business growth initiatives and ensured service excellence. Her achievements included positioning the Philippines as a key delivery hub for Infrastructure and Cloud Services catering to Japan market, seamlessly navigating service delivery during the challenges posed by COVID-19, and successfully integrating the Service Desk and Workplace into a new portfolio, among other milestones.
Bernardo’s previous roles at Coca-Cola Far East Ltd. and Hewlett-Packard Asia Pacific Ltd. showcased her expertise in global program management, leading transformational initiatives, and managing substantial teams. Her academic credentials underscore her commitment and expertise. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Management Engineering, with a minor in Chemical Engineering from De La Salle University, and an MBA from the De La Salle University Graduate School of Business.c
