TCL, a consumer electronics company, showed a range of new display technologies, consumer devices, and smart home products at CES 2026, focusing on visual quality, artificial intelligence (AI), and connected living. The company highlighted updates across televisions, mobile devices, home appliances, and energy systems.
One of the main announcements was TCL’s SQD Mini LED technology. This new display approach improves how light is controlled across the screen by refining dimming zones. According to the company, this allows brighter highlights, deeper dark areas, and more consistent colors. The technology also combines Super QLED features and a new color filter panel designed to improve color accuracy and panel lifespan.
TCL also introduced the X11L television, the first TV to use SQD Mini LED technology. The model supports a wide color range and uses CSOT’s WHVA 2.0 panel, which the company says improves contrast and picture sharpness. The TV includes thousands of dimming zones to better manage brightness in different scenes. It also features a slim design and built-in audio developed with Bang & Olufsen.
Software updates were another focus. TCL confirmed deeper integration of Gemini for Google TV, following its earlier “Always On” Google TV models. New features include easier photo searches and added creative tools. TCL also demonstrated Dolby Vision 2, an updated version of Dolby Vision that adjusts picture quality based on content and viewing conditions. The company said Dolby Vision 2 will be rolled out to select X and C series TVs in 2026 through over-the-air updates.

Beyond TVs, TCL presented eye-care-focused devices. These include the NXTPAPER 70 Pro smartphone and the Note A1 NXTPAPER eNote tablet, both designed to reduce eye strain with paper-like display modes. TCL also showed RayNeo Air 4 Pro augmented reality glasses, which support HDR viewing for work and entertainment.
In smart home technology, TCL unveiled AI-enabled appliances such as air conditioners, refrigerators, washers, dryers, and smart locks. The company also introduced its Smart Home Energy Solutions, which combine power management, batteries, and energy monitoring to help households manage electricity use.
TCL rounded out its CES presence with projectors, a modular AI companion robot called AiMe, mobile connectivity devices, and a concept called NXTHOME that brings together smart devices and home design. The company also introduced ECORA, a material made from recycled porcelain ceramics, aimed at more sustainable product design.
