Toki, the pioneering social commerce platform for collectibles in the Philippines, recently showcased its offerings at ToyCon, the country’s largest annual gathering for collectors. This event marked Toki’s first major public appearance since its launch in November 2023.
As the trailblazer of livestream auctions in the Philippines, Toki captivated onsite and remote attendees by hosting multiple auctions directly from its booth. This innovative approach allowed users to experience the excitement of ToyCon, even if they couldn’t attend in person.
“ToyCon provided an incredible platform for us to connect with the collector community,” said Frederic Levy, CEO and co-founder, Toki. “We are excited to see Toki becoming a central hub for collectors and look forward to amplifying this energy in future events.”
Throughout the three-day event, Toki displayed over 100,000 certified authentic collectibles, including exclusive Art Toys, Funko Pop figures, rare Lego sets, and sneakers. Attendees had the opportunity to participate in fun games at the Toki booth, winning exclusive branded merchandise and ensuring everyone left with something special.
A key attraction was Toki’s daily giveaway, where one lucky visitor each day won P10,000 in vouchers. These vouchers enabled winners to explore and purchase their favorite items from Toki’s diverse collection, enhancing their collector’s journey on the platform.
Adding to the excitement, actor and avid collector Kokoy de Santos visited Toki’s booth, mingling with fellow enthusiasts and showcasing his top picks from the platform. His presence underscored the vibrant community Toki is fostering among collectors.
ToyCon, now in its 21st year, continues to be the premier event for collectors in the Philippines. Toki’s participation aims to introduce its unique end-to-end digital marketplace to a passionate audience.
