Xiaomi has introduced the Redmi Pad 2 Pro Series in the Philippines, consisting of the Redmi Pad 2 Pro and Redmi Pad 2 Pro 5G. The new tablet lineup is designed for users who want a larger screen and reliable performance for watching videos, playing games, or everyday multitasking.
The Redmi Pad 2 Pro Series features a 12.1-inch 2.5K display with Dolby Vision and an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The screen also includes DC dimming and triple TÜV Rheinland certifications for Low Blue Light, Flicker-Free, and Circadian Friendly viewing, helping reduce eye strain during long use.
For audio, the tablet includes a quad-speaker setup with Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res Audio. Users can increase volume output manually by up to 300% to ensure clear sound in louder environments.
Powering the device is the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 Mobile Platform, built on a 4nm process to handle multitasking and entertainment apps efficiently. The tablet is equipped with a 12,000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. It also offers 27W wired reverse charging, allowing it to serve as a power source for other devices.
The series runs on Xiaomi’s HyperOS, which allows seamless integration with other Xiaomi devices. Features include Call sync, Shared clipboard, Network sync, and Home screen+, which lets users access phone apps and files directly from the tablet. Cross-device cameras can also be used for video calls or live streaming from multiple angles.
Both models come with Google’s Gemini AI assistant and Circle to Search for enhanced productivity. Storage can be expanded up to 2TB, providing space for photos, videos, and work files.
Xiaomi also introduced accessories to complement the tablets. The Redmi Smart Pen supports 4,096 pressure levels for writing and drawing, while the Redmi Pad 2 Pro Keyboard provides a full-sized typing experience with a stylus holder. The Redmi Pad 2 Pro Cover doubles as a protective case and stand with an integrated pen holder.

The Redmi Pad 2 Pro Series will be available starting Nov. 7 through Xiaomi’s official stores on Shopee, Lazada, and authorized retailers nationwide. The Redmi Pad 2 Pro 5G (8GB+256GB) is priced at ₱19,999 and comes with a free keyboard until Nov. 20, while the Redmi Pad 2 Pro (8GB+256GB) retails for ₱17,599.
