Xiaomi introduced the new Redmi Note 14 Series at the All-Star Playground event held at the SM Mall of Asia Atrium on Jan. 25-26. Attendees were able to test the phone’s durability through a series of interactive activities.
The Redmi Note 14 Pro and Pro+ 5G, known for their protective features, took center stage. Eventgoers participated in activities that tested the phones’ water, dust, scratch, and impact resistance. For example, a water slide was used to demonstrate the phone’s IP68 water resistance. Other tests included scratching the screen with everyday items to check its Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 durability and testing its dust resistance by exposing it to sand.
Xiaomi also highlighted the Redmi Note 14 Series’ AI-powered photography features, which were showcased through content creation workshops led by popular tech influencer Alvin Tries Tech. The event was also filled with entertainment, including musical performances by OPM bands Dilaw and Sunkissed Lola, and a Mobile Legends showmatch hosted by esports squad Team Liquid.
The All-Star Playground also featured fun activities like the All-Star Trivia Game, Compatibility Game, and Dance Challenge. Attendees had a chance to win a Redmi Note 14, along with other prizes.
Xiaomi also highlighted the Redmi Watch 5, a wearable designed to help users track their workouts. The Redmi Note 14 Series, along with the Redmi Watch 5, is available at authorized Xiaomi stores and online through Shopee and Lazada.
