Tech company Xiaomi Philippines, in partnership with World Vision, has completed its Xiaomi Renovation Program this year by assisting Bula Elementary School in Camarines Sur. The school suffered severe damage from Tropical Storm Kristine, leaving it without essential learning tools.
The program transformed the school into a modern learning space, equipping it with Xiaomi TVs, Redmi Pad SE 8.7 tablets, Xiaomi 14 phones, LED monitors, and other tech devices. These tools aim to enhance multimedia learning and provide access to vital educational content.
“We are honored to contribute to the recovery efforts in Bicol with this year’s Xiaomi Renovation Program,” said Tomi Adrias, head of Marketing at Xiaomi Philippines. “Education is the key to a brighter future, and we hope our donations will help and inspire students to reach their full potential.”
While the Xiaomi Renovation Program typically focuses on providing home makeovers with AIoT products, this year’s initiative shifted its focus to support the storm-affected school.
By addressing the school’s urgent needs, the company hopes to empower both students and teachers, fostering a more engaging and effective learning environment.
