Google has opened submissions for the YouTube Works Awards Southeast Asia (SEA) 2025, held in partnership with marketing research firm Kantar. The awards recognize brands and agencies that create effective and engaging YouTube campaigns.
The competition, now in its third year, invites businesses across Southeast Asia to submit their most impactful video-based marketing campaigns. The awards highlight how YouTube helps brands reach audiences and drive business results.
“In today’s landscape, every marketing dollar counts now more than ever. This is why brands seeking proven ROI choose YouTube, across its diverse short and long formats,” said Prep Palacios, head of Industries at Google Philippines. “Year after year, brands and agencies launch creative campaigns, finding a competitive edge through our platform. With YouTube Works Awards, we’re excited to celebrate the campaigns that set the industry bar high and demonstrate YouTube’s ability to drive real business impact.”
Submissions opened on March 17 and will close on April 30. Winners will be announced at the YouTube Works Awards SEA 2025 Awards Night in October.
This year’s awards introduce new categories:
- Media Agency of the Year, recognizing agencies that contributed to client success.
- Creative Agency of the Year, honoring agencies that produced outstanding campaign results.
- Specialty Agency of the Year, celebrating agencies focused on influencers, social media, and live-streaming.
The winners in these categories will be determined using a point-based system outlined in the official submission guidelines.
As in previous years, Kantar will evaluate all entries based on data and insights to determine the most effective campaigns.
