AF Payments Inc., the company behind the beep card, has partnered with GHL Systems Philippines, a payment service provider with a nationwide presence, to enable beep card payments at GHL-operated terminals.

“By making transactions more convenient and accelerating the shift toward cashless payments, we are taking a significant step forward in our mission to advance the digital payment landscape in the Philippines,” said JJ Moreno, president and CEO of AF Payments Inc.

The integration will allow GHL’s partner merchants to accept beep card payments through a simple tap-to-pay process, bringing added convenience to users. The rollout will happen in phases, with retail merchants progressively onboarding the service.

beep card is currently accepted on LRT 1, LRT 2, MRT 3, select bus lines, P2P buses, and modern jeepneys. Partner retail merchants, including convenience stores and food establishments, also form part of AF Payments’ growing network. The card can be purchased at train stations, convenience stores, and online via Lazada and Shopee.

With this collaboration, beep aims to increase adoption of cashless payments, leveraging GHL’s network to enhance access for both consumers and merchants.
