Converge ICT Solutions Inc. and the American Chamber of Commerce in the Philippines (AmCham) Visayas Chapter have formed an alliance to help businesses and local governments in the Visayas adopt digital tools and strengthen their operations.
The partnership comes as companies and public agencies increasingly depend on reliable internet connectivity, cloud-based systems, and data to deliver services and support economic growth.
Fiber broadband and technology solutions provider Converge ICT Solutions Inc., through its corporate and large enterprise arm Converge Global Business, co-presented the forum “Digital Transformation in Action: Building a Smarter Future” with AmCham Visayas.
The event at Bai Hotel Cebu brought together C-suite executives, local government officials, and industry decision-makers to discuss digital infrastructure, network reliability, and practical ways to modernize operations.

Converge said stronger digital infrastructure could help regional businesses become more efficient, respond better to disruptions, and compete with companies in larger economic centers. It could also help local governments improve public services and make better decisions using data.

Danao City officials also highlighted the growing role of data in local governance.
“Digital transformation is here and now,” said Jaive Joseph Roble, department head of Danao City Information and Communication Technology Office (CICTO). “We must stop guessing because data is the new gold. We need to connect, analyze, and become truly data-driven to create impactful solutions for our communities.”
The forum also covered emerging enterprise technology trends and road maps for adopting advanced digital tools.
