Global AI devices provider HONOR Philippines has begun teasing a new smartphone following the launch of the HONOR 600 Series, with the company highlighting artificial intelligence-powered content creation as one of its key features.
HONOR has yet to disclose the device’s name, price, specifications, or launch date. However, the company confirmed that the upcoming smartphone will feature AI Image to Video 2.0, a tool that can turn still photos into short videos.
The feature could appeal to social media users, content creators, and small-business owners who want to produce videos using a phone without relying on more complicated editing software.
“Following the success of the HONOR 600 Series, we wanted to continue building on what our consumers value while bringing exciting experiences to even more users,” said Stephen Cheng, vice president of HONOR Philippines. “This upcoming device reflects how we see smartphones evolving alongside the way people create, work, and enjoy content today. We’re excited for everyone to see what we have in store.”
HONOR said the smartphone is also being designed for entertainment, mobile work, business, and everyday productivity. The company is expected to reveal how its hardware and other AI tools will support these uses when it formally introduces the device.
The planned launch comes as smartphone brands add more generative AI features to their devices. These tools are increasingly being used to edit photos, create videos, summarize information, and handle routine tasks.
HONOR Philippines said more details will be announced through its official social media channels. Information about its products is also available on the HONOR Philippines website.
