Lenovo and Motorola have announced a global partnership with FIFA for the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup 2025, which will be held in the United States starting June 14.

Motorola, a Lenovo brand, has been named the official smartphone partner of the tournament. The event, described by FIFA as a “new era of global club football,” will feature 32 top teams from six confederations competing in 63 matches over four weeks.

“Motorola is proud to support this new global club football landmark with smarter technology,” said Sergio Buniac, president of Motorola.

As official partners, Lenovo and Motorola will provide a range of technology and services to FIFA and the teams. These include AI-powered PCs, tablets, workstations, servers, and Motorola smartphones. The goal is to support operations, content creation, and coordination during the tournament.

“Through our infrastructure, devices, from smartphones to Lenovo PCs and servers, and services, Lenovo hopes to help FIFA deliver a globally inclusive tournament for fans around the world,” the companies said in a joint statement.

The partnership will also be visible in stadiums through field-level LED signage and video board placements before, during, and after matches. Motorola smartphones, including the upcoming Motorola razr family 2025, will be used to capture exclusive pitch-side content.

FIFA welcomed the partnership and highlighted the role of technology in enhancing the experience for fans and participants.

“The inaugural FIFA Club World Cup will mark a new era in global club football, one that is inclusive, innovative and more connected than ever before,” said Mattias Grafström, secretary general of FIFA. “We’re delighted to have Motorola and Lenovo join us for this groundbreaking tournament. Their world-class technology and global perspective will help elevate the experience for fans, teams and other stakeholders.”
