Lenovo is expanding its hybrid artificial intelligence (AI) strategy across PCs, smartphones, tablets, wearables, and workplace systems, to give consumers and businesses access to the same AI assistant on multiple devices.
At Lenovo Innovation World during IFA 2026, the company unveiled new Lenovo and Motorola devices, along with security and collaboration tools for organizations. A major part of the rollout is the expansion of Lenovo & Motorola Qira, its personal AI system.
Qira will be available on eligible Lenovo PCs with at least 16GB of memory, opening the service to more computers. Select Motorola edge, razr, and signature smartphones will also receive Qira when they are upgraded to Android 17.
The new moto watch ultra will be the first Motorola wearable to support Qira on compatible devices. This means users may eventually be able to access the same AI assistant through their computer, phone, or watch.
Lenovo is also working with Workato to connect supported Qira functions with Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Contacts, Slack, Outlook Mail, and Outlook Calendar. The integrations could allow users to complete tasks across commonly used workplace apps without repeatedly switching services.
For creators and developers, Lenovo introduced the Yoga Pro 9n and Yoga 9n 2-in-1 with NVIDIA RTX Spark, which supports AI work directly on the device. The company also unveiled the Yoga Tab Plus Gen 2 and Yoga Tab Gen 2, both designed around pen input.
The Lenovo Smart Canvas Concept shows how users could capture and develop ideas across compatible devices using voice, a pen, a camera, or touch.
Lenovo expanded its consumer lineup with the IdeaPad Vibe series, available in seven colors, and the redesigned IdeaCentre AIO i all-in-one desktop. Motorola introduced the motorola edge 70 plus with a 200-megapixel camera system and Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 Mobile Platform.
For businesses, Lenovo launched the ThinkCentre X Ultra and ThinkCentre M75 Series desktops, as well as the ThinkBook 14 Gen 9 and ThinkBook 14x Gen 2. These devices offer different levels of on-device AI processing, allowing companies to run some AI tasks locally instead of relying entirely on cloud services.
Lenovo also announced ThinkShield TraceLock, powered by Absolute Security, and Prompt Security, a SentinelOne company. The tools are designed to help businesses track devices, control access, and manage employee use of AI.
Concept devices included Project AeroBlade, a thin, fanless mobile PC, and Project Swan, a portable notebook that can expand into a wider workspace.
