In 2023, Filipino creators played a key role in Klook’s global success, contributing 76% to the Klook Kreator Program. A shift in travel behavior among millennials and Gen Z has transitioned from traditional search engines to a heavy reliance on social media recommendations. 

The program has flourished into a vibrant community with 15,000 creators across 13 social media platforms, amassing 1.5 billion impressions in the past year. During Klook’s 9th anniversary, heightened efforts for the Kreator program resulted in a landmark achievement, with a single-day sales record of $100 million and 200 million online impressions driven by authentic User-Generated Content (UGC) in the Asia Pacific.

The Philippines emerged as the standout market for the Klook Kreator Program, generating 76% of the program’s revenue through the contributions of over 1,800 Filipino Kreators in 2023. Filipino content creators are praised for their natural ability to captivate audiences globally with creative, informative, and entertaining content.

Singapore, Hong Kong, and Japan continue to be favored destinations for Filipino travelers, leveraging exclusive Klook passes for unique experiences. The success of the Kreator Program has propelled Klook to further empower travelers globally, encouraging them to define their own joyous travel experiences.

As Millennials and Gen Z are poised to represent half of the Asia Pacific’s population by 2025, Klook identifies the region as the hub for socially and mobile-savvy travelers. Currently, they constitute the majority of Klook’s user base, responsible for up to 80% of the company’s mobile bookings. Recognizing this trend, Klook introduced the Klook Kreator Program, a nano-to-micro influencer affiliate initiative fostering a community passionate about travel and content creation.
