Security Bank has announced the appointment of Victor Lee Meng Teck as its next president and CEO, effective January 2026, pending regulatory requirements.

Lee will succeed Sanjiv Vohra, who will continue to serve as CEO until the transition. After stepping down, Vohra will take on a new role as senior advisor to the Board.

A Singaporean banker, Lee has more than three decades of experience in leadership roles across Asia. He previously served as CEO of CIMB Singapore and CEO of Growth Markets for CIMB Bank Berhad.

“I am grateful for the trust placed in me,” Lee said. “Security Bank has built a reputation for being customer-focused and innovative. I look forward to working with Sanjiv, the Board, and employees to build on this foundation and support long-term growth.”

During his time at CIMB Singapore, Lee oversaw revenue growth and improved returns, while also promoting employee engagement and customer service.

Vohra, who took over Security Bank in 2019, led the organization through the pandemic and introduced initiatives to strengthen digital operations, workplace culture, and sustainability programs.

“We are grateful to Sanjiv for guiding the Bank during a challenging period and for putting in place strategies that have made the organization stronger,” said Cirilo Noel, chairman of Security Bank. “As we welcome Victor, we are confident the transition will allow us to maintain momentum and explore new opportunities.”

“As I prepare to step down, I am proud of what we have accomplished together,” Vohra said. “We have modernized platforms, strengthened our people, and placed customers at the center of what we do. I am confident the Bank is well-positioned for the future.”
