Consumer electronics company TCL Philippines and government agency TESDA Regional Training Center–NCR have opened the TCL–TESDA Training Center in Taguig City to equip trainees with practical knowledge and technical skills in air conditioning systems.

The TCL and TESDA training program aims to strengthen local technical capabilities and provide hands-on experience using industry-standard tools and equipment. The first session welcomed 25 trainees for a one-day workshop focused on air conditioning installation, repair, and maintenance.

“Our goal is to empower a new generation of highly skilled workers,” said Joseph Cernitchez, brand manager of TCL Philippines. “We anticipate many more successful training cycles and look forward to endorsing our future graduates to our company’s authorized service centers, where they can apply their skills and explore career opportunities.”

TCL Product and Service teams served as trainers, guiding participants through both technical and practical exercises. The program also covered the brand’s air conditioning technologies, including FreshIN and VoxIN, as well as smart features such as Voice Command and the TCL Home App.

“Today marks a significant milestone for TCL, TESDA, and, more importantly, for our trainees who are about to embark on a journey that combines knowledge, skill building, and future-ready opportunities,” said Eugene Agcaoili, center administrator of TESDA RTC–NCR. “TCL, as an industry partner, is also opening doors to potential employment pipelines through its service centers and networks.”

At the end of the session, trainees received certificates of completion to support future employment applications at TCL’s authorized and partner service centers.
