Toyota Motor Philippines Corp. (TMP) has been named the top customs revenue contributor to the Bureau of Customs (BOC) Port of Batangas for the first half of 2025, with ₱24.09 billion in duties and taxes remitted. The figure is 29% higher compared to the same period in 2024.

The recognition was given during the BOC-Port of Batangas’ 68th Founding Anniversary Celebration and Thanksgiving for Partners on Aug. 20 in Batangas City. According to the agency, TMP accounted for 35.7% of the port’s top 10 importers during the six-month period.

District Collector Carmelita Talusan said the Port of Batangas collected ₱145.05 billion as of Aug. 19, 2025, an 11.6% increase from last year. Motor vehicles and fuel products remain the port’s main revenue sources.

TMP is one of the few companies with an Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) Level 2 accreditation from the BOC, which allows faster customs clearance and access to dedicated processing lanes.

To support its operations, TMP’s Batangas Vehicle Center is located about six kilometers from the Port of Batangas. The facility helps streamline the processing and delivery of Toyota and Lexus vehicles, as well as production parts and service components.
