Cisco Philippines is poised to revolutionize Mapúa University into a cutting-edge digital institution. The technology company is set to deploy state-of-the-art solutions within the university’s engineering and technological school.
This collaboration aims to support and optimize Mapúa University’s adoption of hybrid learning, through the key component of Cisco’s Country Digital Acceleration (CDA) program in the Philippines, known as UGNAYAN 2030.

Cisco will furnish Mapúa University with an array of purpose-built, AI-powered collaboration tools, including the Cisco Webex Meeting Suite, Webex Boards, and devices, along with Meraki Wireless and Smart Cameras, all designed to create inclusive and engaging learning experiences in hybrid classrooms.
To fully harness the potential of the digital classroom experience, Mapúa and Cisco have developed a specialized training curriculum for teachers, focusing on blended and hybrid learning. This program ensures that educators and students receive training in effectively using Cisco devices and solutions for communication, collaboration, and learning from any location.
Micro-credential initiatives
Mapúa University also plans to support upskilling and micro-credential initiatives through online courses on accredited learning and certification platforms. This initiative builds upon the university’s strong partnership with the Cisco Networking Academy in the Philippines.
