DTI partners with JobStreet to offer free job ads for MSMEs nationwide

The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) has partnered with online job portal JobStreet to aid in business recovery and bring more opportunities to local micro small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) nationwide.

Under the DTI Negosyo Center, MSMEs are entitled to free job posting credits on JobStreet platform through its Lite Ad feature, allowing over 120,000 DTI-registered enterprises to have a larger pool of jobseekers on their job offers. This also opens new opportunities for candidates who are looking for jobs during the pandemic.

“We’re honored that the DTI has trusted our company in this timely program for our MSMEs that were really affected by the pandemic,” said Philip Gioca, country manager, JobStreet Philippines. “We hope that this initiative will be of great help to many businesses as they recover from the situation; JobStreet is always here to assist them in finding the right employees and promoting jobs that matter.”

As dedicated business partners, DTI and JobStreet will also hold webinars for registered MSMEs by early 2022. Through these virtual series of training, hirers could learn more about attracting the right candidate, optimizing the hiring process, engaging the workforce, and more.

“The DTI and our Negosyo Center have always been dedicated to strengthening our MSME sector. We thank JobStreet for working with us in this meaningful initiative and for supporting us with our goal of empowering more MSMEs through our bayanihan amid this situation,” said Jerry Clavesillas, director, DTI – Bureau of SME Development.
