Netopia AI, a Filipino-led startup, is breaking new ground in understanding human behavior by developing an (artificial intelligence) AI-driven system that can predict behavior across different industries.
Founded by a team of experts from the Philippines and Silicon Valley, Netopia AI is creating a Large Behavioral Model that integrates insights from fields like psychology and neuroscience to better predict how people act in various situations.
“Human behavior drives both societal and technological progress,” Axel Kornerup, CEO of Netopia AI, said in a statement. “Netopia AI’s model aims to make interactions between businesses and customers more meaningful by offering precise predictions about behavior.”
He further noted that the company’s mission is to bridge the gap between technological advancements and the fragmented understanding of human behavior.
The model gathers data from a range of sources, including surveys and social media activity, creating detailed behavioral profiles.
“In today’s world, data is the new currency,” said Jason Albia, co-founder of Netopia AI. He added that the technology has potential applications in industries like e-commerce, finance, and even public policy, as well as healthcare, education, and marketing.
With backing from investors, Netopia AI plans to further develop its technology, hire more talent, and expand its operations to unlock new opportunities in understanding and predicting human actions.
Netopia AI was set up by the team behind Netopia, Netvoice, Netsolar, InterVenn, and Vivum.
