foodpanda Philippines has expanded its pandamart dark-store network to 23 fulfillment hubs nationwide, increasing its logistics infrastructure to support faster online grocery deliveries and localized inventory management.
The latest facilities in Calamba, Laguna, and Caloocan City bring the network to 23 dedicated fulfillment hubs across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. Unlike traditional supermarkets, pandamart locations are designed exclusively for online orders, allowing groceries and household items to be picked, packed, and dispatched directly to customers.
The company said the expanded network supports average delivery times of 25-35 minutes by making its fulfillment hubs closer to residential communities.
An important part of the model is hyperlocal inventory management. Instead of carrying the same products in every location, each pandamart adjusts its stock based on purchasing patterns in nearby neighborhoods. The approach helps match inventory with local demand and reduces unnecessary stock movement across the supply chain.
The network now operates in Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Bulacan, Pampanga, Benguet, Metro Manila, Metro Cebu, Davao, as well as micro-hubs in eastern Metro Manila and the Rizal growth corridor.
“This marks another milestone for us as we continue to adapt to our customers’ changing needs. Every new pandamart brings us closer to our goal of providing Filipinos with a more affordable, convenient, and accessible way to shop for groceries online,” said Joseph Wijesekara, director of Q-Commerce at foodpanda Philippines.
foodpanda said each new dark store creates jobs for warehouse personnel, provides additional delivery opportunities for freelance riders, and gives fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) companies and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) another channel to sell products directly to consumers.
