Jobstreet by SEEK has introduced its (artificial intelligence) AI-powered platform changing the way how employers and talents connect. The enhancements mark a significant shift in job-matching experiences for applicants in the Philippines.
The platform’s evolution, funded by SEEK’s A$180 million investment over three years, aims to unify online employment marketplaces in the APAC region, namely SEEK, Jobstreet, and JobsDB. This initiative intends to foster accelerated growth, unlocking vast opportunities across the region.
The Philippines serves as the launchpad for SEEK’s multimillion-dollar unification program, scheduled for completion by early 2024. Upon its culmination, Filipino job seekers and employers will gain access to an expanded job market and a broader talent pool spanning SEEK’s entire APAC network.

JobStreet revamps job posting packages for employers
“In recent years, we’re seeing an increasing disconnect between the availability of jobs and talent due to the rise in skills mismatch and the ever-evolving job market,” said Dannah Majarocon, managing director, Jobstreet by SEEK (Philippines).
AI-recommended screening questions
The revamped Jobstreet by SEEK platform introduces novel features and capabilities for enhanced job and talent recommendations. Leveraging AI models, the platform assesses talent suitability, curates personalized job recommendations, and identifies top applicants through a ‘Top Applicant Badge.’ This not only empowers job seekers with increased visibility for suitable roles but also benefits employers by streamlining the applicant screening process, ensuring a pool of more qualified candidates.
Employers can now incorporate AI-recommended screening questions into job postings, facilitating the identification of suitable candidates based on their responses. The platform’s predictive approachability signal further aids in connecting potential talent with employers, predicting approachable candidates for job opportunities even before formal vacancies arise.
Job seekers can control their profile visibility, signaling openness to opportunities and enabling proactive employer engagement.
Jobstreet by SEEK also provides Filipino talent with comprehensive career advice and salary insights, empowering informed decisions regarding career trajectories and remuneration negotiations.
