Concepcion Midea Inc. Philippines (CMIP), an appliance manufacturer, has partnered with the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority – National Capital Region (Tesda-NCR) to enhance the agency’s capacity to deliver technical education facilities for Filipinos.
As part of CMIP’s social responsibility initiatives, this collaboration aims to establish a Technical Training Hub equipped with state-of-the-art tools and equipment, enhancing TESDA’s programs in HVAC (heating, ventilating, and air conditioning) and home appliance repair and installation, integrating IoT (Internet of Things) technology. The partnership hopes to cultivate proficient and dependable technical professionals aligned with Tesda’s NC II and NC III standards and certifications.
“Together, we are dedicated to achieving a common goal, the establishment of an accessible, relevant, and conducive training facility for Filipinos who wish to learn and improve their technical skills,” said Anna Marie Alejandro, general manager of CMIP.
