realme has confirmed that the realme 14 5G will soon arrive in the Philippines, just in time for the regular season of the realme Mobile Legends Cup (RMC) Season 9. The smartphone will serve as the official device for the tournament, aimed at giving gamers a smooth and reliable experience throughout the season.
“We’re excited to bring the realme 14 5G to the Philippines as the official smartphone of RMC Season 9,” said Jane Yan, vice president for marketing at realme Philippines. “This move shows our continued support for the growing local gaming community.”
The RMC, now in its ninth season, continues to build a strong space for Filipino gamers. The tournament helps everyday players sharpen their skills in a setting that mimics professional esports competitions. By joining, players get a shot at turning their hobby into a potential career.
Big prizes up for grabs in RMC Season 9
This season, RMC offers a total prize pool of ₱1.6 million. The champion team will take home ₱600,000 in cash and five units of the realme GT Series. The 1st runner-up will receive ₱250,000 and five smartphones from the realme Number Pro Series.
The 2nd and 3rd runners-up will be awarded ₱100,000 and ₱50,000, respectively, plus smartphones from the Number and C-series lines. Teams that place 4th to 7th will win realme Buds T Series wireless earbuds.
On top of that, the season’s MVP will receive ₱100,000 worth of prizes, while realme will host giveaways during live broadcasts and offline events totaling another ₱100,000.
Nationwide qualifier open until May 7
RMC Season 9 will once again open its doors to players across six regions in the Philippines. The competition will run through the Eliminations, Quarter-finals, Semi-finals, and Grand Finals.
“RMC gives teams from different parts of the country a chance to compete and prove what they’re made of,” said Yan. “We encourage all interested teams to sign up and take the challenge.”
