Electronics company Acer has refreshed its Predator and Nitro gaming laptop lines with models powered by Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 Series laptop GPUs. The new lineup includes the Predator Helios Neo 16S AI, Acer Nitro V 16 AI, and Acer Nitro V 16S AI, covering both high-performance and more affordable options.
Acer also introduced two new gaming accessories, the Predator Galea 570 headset and the Predator Cestus 530 mouse.
Predator Helios Neo 16S AI
The Predator Helios Neo 16S AI (PHN16S-I51) is the top model in the new lineup. It can be configured with up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 386H processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop GPU. The hardware is housed in a slim metal body that measures 18.9 mm thick.
The laptop uses a 16-inch WQXGA OLED display, which supports HDR and is designed to show clear images with accurate colors. Acer said this setup is intended for both gaming and creative work, such as photo or video editing.
To manage heat, the device uses a fifth-generation AeroBlade 3D fan and liquid metal thermal material. It supports up to 64 GB of DDR5 memory and up to 2 TB of PCIe storage, which helps with faster system startup and file access.
The Predator Helios Neo 16S AI includes an FHD infrared webcam, DTS:X Ultra speakers, and support for Windows 11 Copilot+ features such as Live Captions. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6E, Thunderbolt 4, and multiple high-speed ports for external devices.
Acer Nitro Series
The updated Nitro series targets casual gamers and users looking for gaming features at lower price points.
The Acer Nitro V 16 AI (ANV16-I51) runs on up to an Intel Core Ultra 7 355 processor paired with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop GPU. It supports up to 32 GB of DDR5 memory and up to 2 TB of SSD storage. The laptop also includes an FHD infrared webcam with a physical shutter and DTS:X Ultra audio.
Acer also unveiled the Nitro V 16S AI (ANV16S-I51), a thinner version measuring under 17.9 mm. It uses similar processor and graphics options as the Nitro V 16 AI and features a 16-inch WUXGA display, a four-zone RGB keyboard, Wi-Fi 6E, and an FHD infrared webcam with a shutter. The model is designed for users who want a lighter device for gaming on the move.
All new Predator and Nitro laptops include Acer Intelligence Space, which groups AI-based tools for gaming, work, and creative tasks. As Copilot+ PCs, the systems use built-in NPUs to handle AI tasks directly on the device.
Predator Galea 570 gaming headset
The Predator Galea 570 headset comes with 50 mm drivers and supports sound tuning through Acer’s Predator QuarterMaster app. It uses environmental noise cancellation to improve voice clarity and offers wired, Bluetooth 5.4, and 2.4 GHz wireless connections. Acer said battery life can reach up to 30 hours, depending on use.
Predator Cestus 530 gaming mouse
The Predator Cestus 530 gaming mouse uses a PixArt PAW3395 sensor with adjustable DPI settings up to 26,000. It supports wired, Bluetooth, and 2.4 GHz wireless connections and is rated for up to 80 million clicks. Users can customize buttons and settings through the Predator QuarterMaster app.
